Tiger and Evolution set the mood at Roberto's

Skelmore Hospitality’s second Roberto’s restaurant in Abu Dhabi features a fine dining restaurant, lounge and outdoor terrace with a 440 seating capacity. Offering three distinct zones to include an indoor and outdoor seating area and an in-house bakery. Each section is done up in a modern and slick Italian style that represents Roberto’s core branding. Designed by international award winning interior designer Paul Bishop, Roberto’s Abu Dhabi is located in The Galleria on Al Maryah Island.
Roberto's restaurant
Creation was called upon to set up the design, supply, testing and commissioning of the lighting control systems by Atlas Continent Contracting. The brief which came directly from the client stipulated a state of the art dimming system which was flexible in terms of control. The entire restaurant’s multiple zones had to be controlled individually.

The dimming system was integrated through Wi-Fi, thus allowing the client access to the system over his smartphone, to enable him to alter scene settings as per his requirement.

A combination of Evolution and Tiger Panels by Mode Lighting were selected to offer the client comfort in terms of fixture selection, since each output channel of the system could be configured to implement any type of dimming protocol and the client could control the system directly from his smartphone or tablet.
Interiors
Probably what is the most stunning feature at Roberto's is a unique ceiling structure inlaid with LED strips that was specially customised by Atlas Continent.
Clearly, it's difficult to escape noticing the extraordinary effect that light plays in creating the perfect ambience at this casual fine dining restaurant.

A new look at Dubai’s winter wonderland
