What I always say is that the system is only as good as the people behind it. At Billionaire Club, Creation was entrusted with ensuring that every layer of the experience worked in harmony behind the scenes. It required meticulous coordination, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of how technology should support an ambience of this standard. The result is an environment that transitions effortlessly throughout the evening, allowing every moment to feel intentional while the technology remains virtually invisible.

Some projects test technical capability. Others test something far harder to define. At Billionaire Club, the real challenge was understanding what the space was trying to say and ensuring the technology never stood in the way of that. This project demanded both, and it demanded them at the highest level. Situated across Level 61 of Wasl Tower on Sheikh Zayed Road, Billionaire Club became one of the most demanding and rewarding engagements Creation has undertaken.
From the outset, Creation was brought in to deliver the architectural lighting control system for a venue that operates in fundamentally different modes across a single evening: intimate dining, live performance, and late-night club. Each mode carries its own ambience, its own technical demands, and its own expectations of the discerning guests it serves. The challenge was not simply to support those modes, but to make the transitions between them feel invisible.
The lighting infrastructure across the floor was built on a Lutron architectural control system, commissioned and integrated by Creation. Every space, from the theatre to the lobby bar lounge, was addressed individually, with scenes tailored to its function and scheduled to activate automatically throughout the day. The result realized a design vision by Lighting Design Studio, whose approach focused on creating a fluid, immersive environment capable of supporting the shifting ambience within a single integrated spatial experience.
Creation’s contribution, however, extended well beyond that scope. The team worked closely on the integration between the Lutron system and the theatrical control system, which drives the venue’s pixel-controlled fixtures, dynamic elements capable of shifting colour, intensity, and movement in real time. Through this integration, Lutron receives trigger commands from the theatrical system, allowing both to operate as a single cohesive instrument, with the architectural layer responding in synchrony with the more expressive elements of the lighting design.
The most technically complex aspect of Creation’s involvement was the GrandMA show control integration. GrandMA is the industry standard for theatrical environments. Bringing it into alignment with an architectural Lutron system is demanding work that requires precision, experience, and a thorough understanding of both platforms. Creation’s team committed wholeheartedly to that process on site. The goal was simple. Every light in the venue, regardless of which system controlled it, had to respond together as one. For a space that moves from live performance to a late-night club without pause, that seamlessness was not optional. It was essential.
Throughout the project, Creation’s approach was defined by collaboration. Working alongside the client, the design team, and the show director, the team contributed not just technical delivery but genuine partnership, adapting to the evolving demands of the space, supporting other disciplines on site, and remaining present long after the primary scope was complete.
